Forget about those who tell you to “stick to one thing” or “you’re overdoing it.” I’m here to testify that life, in its fullest, most vibrant sense, is about blending, bending, and balancing it all!
As an Navy veteran, I found my purpose in the pulse of purchasing, compliance, and quality assurance, serving a cause bigger than myself. The entrepreneurial bug bit me post my military life, leading to the creation of GovLia, my brainchild dedicated to maximizing the impact of supplier diversity programs in government and corporate industries.
But the story doesn’t end there! My passion for purpose and profit has catapulted me into the limelight, getting featured in acclaimed publications like SUCCESS and Florida Trend, winning top awards like the AnitaB.org’s 2018 Grace Hopper Celebration PitcHER, NMSDC’s Emerging Young Entrepreneur, and standing tall as a representative of the United States at the 2019 Global Entrepreneurship Summit!
And if you thought that was all, think again! I’m also a founding member of a non-profit, Code to Eat, that helps underserved communities harness the power of technology for economic gain. Plus, I serve on the boards of Handy Homes advocating for homeless and youth aging out of foster care.
